FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

For weddings, we recommend booking at least 6 months in advance to secure your date. Weekends in particular are snapped up quickly for peak seasons (Sept–May), so we recommend getting in touch the sooner the better to avoid disappointment. Last minute enquiries are always welcome, we’d love to hear from you!

Our minimum spend for all weddings is $6,000 including GST. For weddings and love ceremonies, we specialise in bespoke full service floral designs that celebrate your story and elevate your special moments. This can include everything from personalised bouquets and buttonholes, to lush tablescapes, statement feature arrangements and dreamy large-scale installations for your ceremony and reception.
Pricing has been carefully considered and takes into account our industry expertise and dedication to ethical and sustainable work practices that are so important to us. This includes our commitment to no floral foam, no noxious weeds, sourcing only local, seasonal and bleach/dye-free florals, and paying our team of florists a fair wage. -

All wedding booking enquiries are made via our contact form. If we’re available on your event date, you’ll receive our Floral Design Questionnaire where you can tell us about your floral vision, share reference imagery and select your dream floral elements alongside a transparent price guide with visual examples. From there, we’ll organise a quick phone or video call to discuss everything in detail together before sending through your revised, itemised quote.
Our signed Agreement and a 25% booking payment is required to secure your date, with the remainder due 30 days prior to your event. We understand that you may not have all of your event details sorted at the time of booking, so not to worry – we will refine the design details and floral specifics much closer to your date (we’ll send you a Final Details Questionnaire to confirm everything about 6 weeks before your event), and we can chat through any required revisions along the way.
Your bespoke floral designs will draw from our consultation discussions and your supplied reference imagery to create the desired mood and style for your special day. Our couples love to have the stress taken off their plates when placing full trust in our team’s expertise, creative direction and care when it comes to executing their dream wedding flowers.
For editorial and non-wedding event bookings, please email your event details to hello@tremellabotanicals.com.au so we can provide an accurate quote. Full payment is required at least 7 days prior to the event. -
Our service includes access to our personal collection of vessels which includes a variety of locally handmade ceramics, crystal and glass vases, and our highly sought after in-house 3D printed ceramic vessels – depending on which style you’re after. If there’s a specific style you like, you’re welcome to supply these, or we can help you source hire items for an additional cost. At the end of your event, we also provide an optional wrapping service so you and your guests can easily take home any leftover event flowers in the form of sustainably wrapped and spill-free posies.
Unfortunately, we don’t offer plinths or candles but are more than happy to recommend our favourite suppliers!

Yes! In addition to weddings, we love working with brands and creatives on special projects like editorial shoots, floral set design, corporate events and brand activations, so we’ll do our best to accommodate your event schedule. Ideally, we would appreciate at least 2 weeks notice before the event to have enough time to place floral and hire item orders that meet your brief.

Yes, we currently service Melbourne and regional Victoria. Travel costs will be included in your quote and are calculated depending on the location of your venues and the complexity of the set-up and pack-down.

Responsible floristry practices are important to us, and an important consideration for our clients too. To minimise the environmental impact of our practice, we opt for more sustainable alternatives where possible. This includes our commitment to using bleach-free and dye-free florals, no noxious weeds and no floral foam (a highly toxic single-use plastic that is rife within the floristry industry). This means Tremella’s blooms and botanicals can be safely composted after your event.
When constructing our floral creations, we work with noncorrosive, non-toxic, reusable and/or recyclable floral mechanics. These structures and techniques allow for more natural, wild and sustainable floral arrangements.
After the event, with the help from PP5 and Garden City Plastics, we collect and return any plastic flower sleeves (commonly used by some growers to package and protect the flowers) to be commercially recycled.
All of the florals and botanicals used in our designs are seasonal and sourced as locally as possible – some of the mushrooms used in the designs are grown with care by Bek’s partner Serge.
